About the Role
As Manager, you will:
- Lead campus master planning, urban design, and sustainability initiatives across all La Trobe campuses.
- Shape strategic planning and policy development in alignment with the University's long-term goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to deliver innovative solutions.
- Provide leadership to the Sustainability and Campus Planning team, supervising staff and driving high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with planning legislation and implement policies that promote sustainability and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in urban planning, urban design, architecture, or a related discipline, with significant experience in strategic planning.
- Demonstrated success in delivering major planning projects focused on sustainability, land use, transport, and built environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Victorian Planning Provisions and related statutory processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- Proven leadership capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement.
